Pre-raphaelite art was born as a rebellion against the dark, dreary, conservative art of the Victorian Era. It sought to bring more vivid colors, nudity, freedom, magic and myth.

Perhaps this is why I’m inspired by it so. It represents the romantic rebel in me.
