I’m diving in…

Several days ago my amazing husband helped me see how much I have been allowing my own self-criticism to halt my creative process. Around the same time, Arian began pulling my song journal out from under the bed, where it’s been hiding since we moved here.
So yesterday, when my phone died during a rare opportunity of quiet, I set my judgements aside and began writing with an actual pen and paper again. I found inspiration in the sound of a squirrel munching just outside, and before I knew it, I’d written half a song.
I’ve been ignoring clear signs for a while to unplug more. It comes back to the lesson from the seagull. Making space for myself, not just in the word, but in the world within, where my divine stream of consciousness flows.
Music is Medicine Monday on Instagram and Twitter and Seattle Sound-Weavers updates will continue. Though I won’t be sharing ‘as much’ of the day to day here, you will still find me over on #snapchat from time to time @ amuseinharmony.
It’s time for me to dive right into my heART, incubate Sound-Weavers and write more songs for my first original album. Yes, that’s right, I’m claiming it right here and now. I don’t know all the hows, but one step at a time, it’s gonna happen. Best believe! ✊

So grateful to all who share this wild, wonderful life with me. I’m not disappearing, only diving to my depths to bring forth greater pearls to come. 😘
